Dental Implants

It's time to get your smile back

Dr. Carey's passion for dentistry shows when he is working on a dental implant case. He loves to educate his patients on oral health & contribute to helping them live a healthier lifestyle, so many patients struggle needlessly for years. Dental implants provide a healthier, more natural looking alternative to conventional bridges and dentures. Whether you're missing one tooth or several teeth we can help you eat, speak and smile again with ease and confidence.

Types of Dental implants

Single Tooth Replacement

Single Tooth Replacement

Single Tooth Replacement

When a single tooth is missing, a traditional tooth-supported bridge or an implant-supported crown, are the two most common options to replace it.

A traditional bridge can be very functional and esthetic for a period of time and can be fabricated relatively fast. The disadvantages are that the adjacent teeth must be reshaped or cut down to fit the cemented bridge. With time the adjacent teeth may be susceptible to decay. A traditional tooth-supported bridge also does not stabilize the jawbone where the tooth was lost resulting in continued bone resorption in that area.

Multiple Missing Teeth

Implants are perfect for replacing several teeth, eliminating the need to reshape or grind down healthy adjacent teeth to serve as support for traditional crown & bridge therapy. The dental implants are placed in the bone below the gum tissue. Like single tooth replacement, there will be a healing phase after the implants are placed. After healing, the abutments are attached to the implants, and impressions are taken to make handmade, beautiful, custom crowns or bridges. In the final step, the custom teeth – crowns or bridges will be cemented onto the abutments. The teeth have been replaced without disturbing the teeth next to them, and bone loss has been significantly reduced.

Chewing ability with dentures is not the same as natural teeth; many people find it difficult to eat some of their favorite foods. Dental implants make it possible to eat nuts, fruits and vegetables again without pain and irritation. Speaking clearly is also a problem for denture wearers. Pronouncing words with “L”,”Th” and “S”  words like “life”, “things”, and “seventy-seven” are more difficult  due to the palate being covered with acrylic. Mini Dental implants make it possible to get rid of the upper palate, to be able to speak clearly again easily. Confidence is lost when Dentures loosen or fall out while speaking, laughing or sneezing causing many to cover their mouths if they laugh or smile. Mini Dental implants give you confidence to go ahead and show your smile during any situation.

All-on-4 Implants is a solution for those with significant tooth loss or those seeking a complete dental restoration. This innovative technique involves placing four strategically positioned dental implants in the jawbone, which support a full arch of fixed prosthetic teeth. The All-on-4 system offers numerous advantages, including faster treatment times, reduced need for bone grafting, and a stable foundation for your new teeth. Patients can enjoy improved function, aesthetics, and overall quality of life, all while maintaining the convenience of a fixed dental solution. With All-on-4 implants, you can regain your confidence and enjoy a beautiful, functional smile in just one procedure.

Why should I get a dental implant?

  • Dental implants look & feel like your natural teeth. Keep in mind like natural teeth, dental implants require the same oral care, including thorough brushing and flossing, as well as routine check-ups and professional dental cleanings.
  • Dental implants act like a natural root of your tooth helping to maintain and preserve the bone structure of your face.
  • Unlike bridges, implants do not rely on the adjacent teeth for support. This allows the neighboring teeth to be left healthy and intact, unaltered.
  • Chewing ability with bridges, partials, and dentures is not the same as natural teeth. Dental implants make it possible to eat nuts, fruits, and vegetables again without pain and irritation.
