Oakwell Dental Care was established by Dr. Gregory Osborne in 1982. For over 30 years he has committed himself and his practice to serving the dental and oral health needs of those in the San Antonio area. Every day our staff strives to provide our patients “big city convenience, hometown care”. Our doctors and our staff regularly attend continuing education courses to stay up to date on all the latest technology to provide you optimal dental care. However our greatest accomplishment is to make sure each and every one of our patients are treated like family, treating you in a comfortable relaxing environment.

Our Dental Care Team at Oakwell Dental has been carefully selected so that you have someone that is well trained in the best methods, yet offering the most pleasant dental experience you’ve ever had.
Dr. Dylan Carey, DDS graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in May 2011. Before dental school, Dr. Carey earned his Bachelor’s degree at Abilene Christian University. Dr. Carey is a native of Lubbock, Texas and grew up on the outskirts in a rural farm community.
Dr. Carey has been trained in all aspects of dentistry. Since he has recently graduated from the dental school, he has been taught the latest technology and has been exposed to the newest teachings in dentistry. The dental school provided superb training in restorative dentistry, dentures and partials, pediatric (kids) dentistry, cosmetic dentistry Invisalign, and more complicated surgeries. He happily welcomes adults and kids into the practice. Dr. Carey is certified in sedation dentistry and looks forward to providing you with a great and anxiety free experience at Oakwell Dental Care.
Since before dental school, he has been very involved in service and mission work. He has been on numerous weekend dental mission trips down to the border and one 7 week trip to Guatemala. He is a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association and is active in the local San Antonio chapter. He is also a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentists (AGD), the Texas AGD and the San Antonio District Dental Society.
Dr. Carey is happily married to his college sweetheart. She teaches World History at John Marshall HS. They enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and biking, reading and hanging out with their newest family member, a yorkie named Goober.
Gregory Allen Osborne, DDS has been practicing general dentistry in San Antonio since 1981. His interests have expanded into treating patients with sleep apnea and snoring, straightening teeth with Invisalign orthodontics, and dramatically improving smiles with porcelain veneers.
While enjoying all areas of general dentistry for all ages, he is known in the dental community for his innovative delivery of dental care to the geriatric population in our city. Dr. Osborne has established two satellite dental clinics in area retirement communities. They have become models for bringing dentistry to people who would normally have difficulty getting to the dentist.
Dr. Osborne received his DDS degree in 1981 from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in San Antonio. He has an adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Prosthodontics at the dental school. His BA was from Texas A&I University in Kingsville.
He is recognized as a Fellow in the Academy of Dentistry International for his efforts to serve the dental and oral health needs and to improve the quality of life of the people throughout the world. He is a long-time member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. He is a member of the Texas Academy of Dentistry, Academy of Sleep Medicine Dentistry, and Christian Medical and Dental Associations. Texas Monthly Magazine recognized him as one of the top 10% of Texas dentist. He was also named by his peers to Texas Monthly magazine’s Super Dentist list for the 10th year in a row in recognition of an outstanding practicing dentist in Texas. Dr. Osborne is married. They have three wonderful daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys biking, fishing and gardening.
Susan A. Raquet, DDS has been practicing dentistry since 1985. Since 1993 she has been at Oakwell Dental working with Dr. Osborne and his staff. She treats patients of all ages in all areas of dentistry.
Dr. Raquet grew up in Ohio. She moved to Texas with her family in 1979. After over 25 years of residency, she now qualifies as a new Texan.
She attended Ohio State University and the University of Texas at San Antonio, graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio in 1985. She has had over 100 hours of continuing education classes. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. She enjoys the outdoors and photography. Her main hobbies include snow skiing, water skiing, and scuba diving. Be sure to ask to see her photos during your visit.
Devon Fulbright, DDS graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in May 2017. She then completed a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from University of California in Los Angeles. Before dental school Dr. Fulbright earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.
Dr. Fulbright is trained in an array of dental procedures including cosmetic dentistry, Invisalign, removable prosthetics, implants, and conscious sedation.
Dr. Fulbright was raised as an “Army brat”, living in several states, but she has always claimed San Antonio as her home. After two trips to Guatemala during school, she became passionate about providing dental care through mission work. She plans to continue both local and international efforts. She enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with her dogs Parker and Benji.
